Walking In Faith

šŸ™‹šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøGuilty.

Can we be honest this Friday? Do you ever catch yourself trying to tell God how your life is about to flow… only to be humbled real quick with a swerve of sudden unexpected events? LOL!!! I know God has a good time with me.

I tell him how my life is going to be and get hit with an ā€œOkay, girl…that’s what you think. And what you ain’t goin’ do is tell me how to run my universe.ā€ Seriously, you have to be humored by God.

In the bible we are reminded of God’s abundant promises for us. It is all there. ā€œFor I know the plans I have for you,ā€ declares the LORD, ā€œplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).ā€ We have to remember this.

It doesn’t say ā€œFor you are about to plan your future and I’m going to give you what you want because I am a genie.ā€ That’s not how it works. Yes- we are the co-pilots of our lives, but it’s important to know when to surrender and allow God to show you his power.

I think, speaking honestly for myself, with resilience and pursuit of success, it’s easy to forget that there is a force MUCH greater than myself who wants what is best for me and KNOWS what’s best for me. That promise is there for you too!

We don’t have to chase what is for us—preparation is important, chasing is unnecessary.

Walk in peace. Walk in faith.

Love you all,

KristenšŸ’•
